About Greyfriars

Greyfriars Consulting Group is lead by Martin Stares, an experienced IT solutions consultant who has helped companies through many waves of technology change, including collaboration, intranets, portals, and who now specializes in wireless solutions. He was national wireless practice lead for a global systems integrator, during which time he built up extensive knowledge of wireless solutions and more importantly, how to obtain business benefits from them.

Greyfriars is located in Calgary, Canada. In October 2002, Calgary was named the co-recipient of the World's Top Intelligent Community of 2002 by the World Teleport Authority's Intelligent Community Forum.



Calgary has an exceptionally rich wireless community, with software, hardware and solutions development in the concept stage, in the laboratory, and available as commercial products. Greyfriars is a proud member of this community, and is pleased to be able to incorporate their experiences and vision to bring a unique and high-powered perspective to its clients.
